Rhubarb & Ginger Gin

Gin is all the rage right now and we have certainly been trying a lot of them. This was the first time we’ve tasted something from Whitley Neill and I have to say the Rhubarb & Ginger Gin was utterly delicious.
You would expect something made with both Rhubarb and Gin would be tart and maybe a bit spicy but this Gin surprised us both with a slightly sweet but crisp taste. It smells like candy and goes down just as well.
We tried it straight and with a few different tonics but ended up mixing it with plain soda and ice which let the flavours really come alive. We have since tried the other two flavoured gins in this collection and this one is still a clear favorite however we recommend trying them all. I bet blending a few together will also make some interesting cocktails.
If you are a gin drinker then you need a bottle of this gin in your bar. It’s great straight, on the rocks with a splash of soda or as a nice crisp, slightly tart addition to your favorite Gin Cocktail.
